What we’re looking for: A Senior Strategist, Digital for MSL’s Digital Innovation Center of Excellence, focusing on Healthcare clients for the agency.

What you bring to the table: MSL is seeking a digital-first communicator with experience ideating and developing impactful initiatives in the healthcare vertical. We are looking for an ambitious, results-oriented professional with experience creating digital storytelling arcs for multiple platforms and in a variety of formats/styles, for both brand channels and influencers. Candidates should have experience with best practices and specifications for top content platforms along with an understanding of how owned, earned and paid content integrates.

This is a chance to build an integrated brand reputation content engine on behalf of major healthcare brands, working closely with account, media experts, designers and analytics partners.

Core Responsibilities:

This particular role will lean heavily into social media content development and support influencer marketing efforts. In a fast-paced environment, a “standard day” can look very different based on the week, month or season, but typically these are the core responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day social media storytelling on owned channels covering multiple content calendars and channels, combining paid and organic execution, adhering to industry best practices and client’s standards, practices and requirements
  • Build out best practices relevant to the account and digital storytelling as a whole (e.g., creating defined audiences, improving benchmarking, KPIs and goal setting, offering up key learnings)
  • Participate in creating influencer campaign concepts and plans; Research, identify, analyze and recommend influencers for engagement
  • Draft materials for influencer engagement, including outreach, creative briefs and contract addendums
  • Use project management skills to track production of client deliverables
  • Measure and report social content and influencer campaign outcomes
  • Stay current on digital and cultural trends, develop internal and external POVs and how they apply to our business and work, and actively liaise with MSL’s Digital Innovation Center of Excellence
  • Proactively brainstorm against new requests and challenges. Whether it’s for a small client idea or a new business opportunity, we challenge everyone to come to the table with new ways of thinking
  • Possess strong understanding of MSL’s positioning and goals; emulate behaviors consistent with MSL’s values of Leading, Learning, Loving


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years previous experience and a B.A. in Public Relations, Communications or a related discipline.
  • Passion and previous experience supporting healthcare companies or clients
  • Digital native with understanding of social from owned, organic and paid perspectives.
  • Experience writing social media content calendars against brand voice and objectives, asset concepting, creating mockups.
  • Knowledge of key social platform best practices (post types, story arcs and tech specs), as well as scheduling social media content and community management
  • Experience in influencer marketing, including supporting strategy development, search, outreach, contracting, asset management and measurement
  • stute at applying data and insights to inform content choices.
  • Naturally obsessed with social media, influencer and culture trends.


Proficient working within the following tools:

  • Writing: Microsoft PP/Word/Outlook
  • Social media community management platforms (HubSpot, Khoros, Sprout, Hootsuite, etc.)
  • Social Platform Brand Managers: Meta, TikTok
  • Influencer management platforms (Tagger, Captiv8, Traackr, CreatorIQ, etc.) to identify influencers and manage campaigns


Compensation Range: $70,000-$117,500. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
