This position is a key member of the Graphics Production Team, reporting to the Operations Manager.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
OPERATING AND MAINTAINING LARGE FORMAT PRINTER EQUIPMENT :
Manage various types of printers such as UV flatbed, roll to-roll, and wide format printersEnsure proper setup, calibration, and ongoing maintenance of these machinesENSURE PRINT QUALITY AND COLOR ACCURACY :
Responsible for producing high quality prints, managing color consistency, and conducting quality control checks throughout the printing processIncludes color matching with Pantone, CMYK, and RGB systemsMEET PRODUCTION DEADLINES :
Efficient time management and the ability to handle tight schedules. Complete print jobs on time, often working under pressure to meet tradeshow and event deadlinesPERSONAL DEVELOPMENT :
Pursue continuous learning, set and achieve personal growth goals each quarterKey Responsibilities :
Operate and maintain large format ink jet printers, including digital printers and UV-cured printersSet up and configure printers for various materials such as vinyl, fabric, and rigid substratesManage print production schedules to meet tight deadlines for tradeshows and eventsEnsure color accuracy and print quality across different materials and sizesTroubleshoot printing issues and perform routine maintenance on equipmentCollaborate with design teams to ensure artwork files meet production requirementsHandle materials safely, including large rolls of media and ink suppliesConduct quality control checks throughout the printing processAssist with finishing processes such as trimming, laminating, and mounting as neededRequired Skills and Experience :
2 years of experience operating large format ink jet printers, preferably in a tradeshow or events contextProficiency in color management and print quality controlKnowledge of various printing substrates and their propertiesStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality printsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesPhysical ability to lift and manipulate large materials and stand for extended periodsBasic understanding of graphic design principles and file preparationProblem-solving and quick decision-making abilitiesAdaptability to new printing technologies and techniquesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsThrives under pressure and manages multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced industryDye Sublimation fabric printer experience is a plusExperience working in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Creative Suite, and Fiery Command workstation for wide format is a plusExperience with RIP software and other printing-related software is a plusCompensation Range :
