As a Senior Microsoft Dynamics Developer, you will support a federal customer to perform mission-critical functions within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. You will be part of a business process re-engineering team comprised of process analysts, developers, testers, and organizational change agents seeking to re-envision the customer's current implementation of MS Dynamics 365. In this role, you will serve as the subject matter expert ensuring new / emerging business needs are evaluated, designed, and integrated within the existing instance and align with best practice implementation standards.
- Responsibilities include system integrations, custom code development, and 3rd-party application API integration.
- Help to develop and drive standards, development processes, advise on some systems architecture, and design patterns to support IT and business solutions.
- Configure out-of-the-box workflows and create / maintain custom workflows
- Configure application-related fields, forms, views, email notifications, acceptance roles, and access controls
- Responsible for the solution that includes high- and low-level designs, data modeling, data integration, tool configuration, and customizations.
- Integrate with third-party systems / applications via APIs
- Build reports, dashboards, and views
- Administer the instance, including the delegation of groups, workflows, business rules, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs, dictionary, catalog items, and updates of all other existing solutions requiring revisions
- Rapidly prototype new solutions to demonstrate Dynamics capabilities to our clients
- Collaborate with business users and stakeholders through design and implementation, including needs analysis and system requirements.
- Work with IT partners to design, configure, test and deploy changes to CRM database entities, fields, screens, forms, workflows, reports, and dashboards.
- Define and refine methodology and standards for setup, design, and implementation of the application or technology to meet the needs of the business and IT customers.
- Lead and / or contribute to technical design sessions.
- Document overall D365 system design and architecture as and where needed
