Overview: We are a leading mortgage licensing company specializing in mortgage broker state, branch, and loan originator licensing across all 50 states. As a dynamic and growing organization, we are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled individual to join our team as a Mortgage Licensing Specialist. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with state rules and regulations, navigating the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS), and maintaining effective communication with clients.
- NMLS Navigation:
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
- Navigate the NMLS platform efficiently for state, branch, and mortgage loan originator licensing processes.
- Keep abreast of updates and changes to the NMLS system and related industry regulations.
- State Rules/Regulations:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of state-specific rules and regulations related to mortgage licensing.
- Ensure compliance with state requirements for various licensing types, including mortgage broker, branch, and loan originator licenses.
- Monitor changes in state regulations and promptly update internal processes to reflect these changes.
- Client Communication:
- Engage in professional and effective communication with clients, both verbally and in writing.
- Provide timely and accurate information regarding licensing processes, requirements, and updates.
- Address client inquiries and concerns with a high level of customer service.
- Detail Orientation:
- Execute tasks with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation and submission processes.
- Conduct thorough reviews of licensing applications and related materials to identify and rectify any discrepancies.
- Software Proficiency:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Comfortable learning and adapting to new software applications related to mortgage licensing and compliance.
Experience:
- Prior experience in mortgage licensing or a related field is highly desirable.
