Mpls.St.Paul Magazine is in search of a Sales and Marketing intern to assist in email marketing, promotional marketing copy, and sales team support functions.
Job Description: The paid position ($15.97/hour) is 15-30 hours per week and offers a hands-on opportunity to support the Sales and Marketing team on a wide variety of projects. This role is fast-paced and wide-ranging from producing B2B email marketing campaigns, to assisting with CRM vendor relationship management, to acting as marketing coordinator to internal projects. Interns develop skills in interpersonal communication, research, and project coordination while getting an inside look at the workings of a print magazine and digital publishing platform. This position reports to the Client Relations Specialist and the Growth Marketing Specialist.
Internship Dates: This year, we will be offering a 6-month hybrid internship starting in mid May through October.
Your Role:

Source new opportunities in a prospecting project.

Work to ensure data in the CRM is accurate.

Assist in email marketing and performance reports.

Responsible for special projects and client requests as needed.
Qualifications
Requirements:

Candidates must be pursuing or have graduated with a degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or have related experience.

Eagerness, willingness to learn, and interest in magazines and business.

Experience using Microsoft suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Preferred experience with a CRM platform.

Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
