What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Facility Cleaner and Organizer position at MSP Pallet Recycling?
We are seeking a person to help drive improvements by being responsible for organizing and cleaning our wood pallet factory.
In this two to three days a week role during work day from 7am to 3pm, you will:
- Be the hands-on person responsible for the ongoing cleanliness of the factory, working with the team and by yourself to create and maintain standards.
- Work to improve "5-S processes" in the factory which includes organization of workspace, standardization of process, eliminating unnecessary items from the space, driving a neat and clean work area.
- You will help organize and label wood supply and finished inventory.
- You will help organize and toss out non-important materials.
- You will take on area improvement projects.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Help us run a clean and organized operation ongoing.
- Help us maintain a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Someone who likes things clean and organized.
- Previous experience in driving factory improvements is a plus
- Bilingual Spanish speaker is a plus
- Prior lumber experience is a plus
- Folk Lift certified
- Strong indirect leadership qualities
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A self-starter with ability to behave decisively - work on your own with light direction
- Pays attention to details
- Ability to motivate co-workers to follow your vision of improvements
- Patient and self-confident
Salary : $15 - $20
