Job Title : Systems Administrator
Overview :
The role involves the installation, configuration, and maintenance of server and desktop operating systems, databases, and other software applications. Overseeing the monitoring of server and network systems, as well as facilities, is a key responsibility. Ensuring high-quality network transmission, directing testing and analysis of system elements, troubleshooting system-related issues, and performing necessary installations of hardware and software are also part of the role. Additionally, responsibilities include conducting backups, managing databases, and overseeing file recovery. Optimizing system operation and resource utilization, conducting system-capacity analysis and planning, and providing user assistance are integral aspects of the position.
Qualifications :
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience in providing System Administration support.
- A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
Clearance Level : TS / SCI polygraph
Job Locations :
US-MD-Annapolis Junction (Onsite Only)
Skills :
Proficiency in Linux, Redhat, and Windows.
