We are currently seeking an ADS (Automated Driving System) & ADAS (Advanced Driver Assist System) Technician to join Automated Technician Group (ATG). This role focuses on supporting ADAS & ADS evaluation activities, vehicle maintenance, and data acquisition.
Role Overview:
- Maintain ATG test vehicles and facilities.
- Retrofit and maintain ADS/ADAS sensors, data acquisition systems, and other equipment.
- Support public road and closed course ADAS/ADS evaluations.
- Provide vehicle troubleshooting and system updates.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in automotive, Electronics, or a related Technical Field.
- 1 year of vehicle track/public road evaluation hands-on experience.
- Experience with data acquisition tools and OBD/CAN diagnostics.
- Ability to interpret electrical systems drawings, specifications, manuals, and wire diagrams.
- Proficiency in hand and shop tools for test fixture assembly and vehicle troubleshooting.
- Clean driving record and willingness to travel ~50%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of ADS/ADAS hands-on work experience.
- Experience with ABD products (Guided Soft Target, SR/CBAR Robot test systems).
- Vehicle dynamics evaluation experience.
- ASE certification and Toyota Driving Certifications.
- Experience writing small software scripts for automated evaluations.
