The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of digital manufacturing principles and be proficient in utilizing software such as FEA, Navisworks, Inventor, Catia, and Terrace. They will work closely with the Assembly Engineering Manager to support the Production Engineering Assembly department's digital manufacturing area.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of new models and enhance manufacturing preparation. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting project planning efforts for upcoming model changes (20%)
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for simultaneous engineering of vehicle data management and studies (40%)
- Conducting 3D studies, simulations, FEA, layout updates, and 3D assembly management (40%)
To excel in this position, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Tech, Computer Integrated Technology, or CAD, combined with strong communication skills and proficiency in Autocad, Catia, Solidworks, and Inventor. Experience with GD&T, drafting techniques, and MS Office applications is also required.
