About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Technician to support our digital manufacturing team. As a key member of our Production Engineering Assembly department, you will utilize digital tools to improve manufacturing preparation for new model introduction.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support project planning for upcoming model changes (20%)
- Conduct simultaneous engineering for assembly of vehicle data management and studies (40%)
- Perform 3D studies, simulations, FEA, layout updates, and 3D assembly management (40%)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Computer Integrated Technology, or CAD
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Autocad, Catia, Solidworks, and Inventor
- Familiarity with GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
- Strong understanding of drafting techniques and engineering terminology
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Experience with 3D printing and 3D scanning technologies
