Position Overview
Liaison Responsibilities :
Act as the primary point of contact between the finance, supply chain, inventory, purchasing, CSR, shipping, receiving, and digital technology teams to ensure seamless data flow and alignment with QA processes and compliance standards.
Monitor and resolve system transaction issues within JDE, ensuring accurate recording and processing of financial data.
Collaborate with various teams to address discrepancies in inventory and work order movement, invoicing, cost allocations, and tracking.
Ensure financial processes align with operational workflows, aiming to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Participate in TIER meetings, providing financial insights and addressing cost-related concerns :
Offer insights into labor costs, material variances, and work order discrepancies.
Identify cost drivers impacting budget performance and suggest corrective actions.
Work closely with operations teams, managers, and supervisors to implement improvements for better cost efficiency.
Finance Oversight / Cost Management :
Drive process improvements between cross-functional teams for better operational flow.
Oversee and resolve discrepancies in reports, journal entries (JEs), and transfers to ensure data accuracy.
Conduct spot audits of journal entries, work order closings, and other financial processes within the MRO finance team to maintain accuracy.
Spot audit cycle counts to ensure accuracy on the floor.
Define and manage the flow of costs into appropriate accounts.
Coordinate with sister sites to ensure accurate cost updates and effective communication.
Perform thorough analysis and reconciliation to align transactions with financial discrepancies.
Support payroll, PTO, timekeeping, and reconciliation processes.
Finance Reporting / Closeout :
Assist with journal entries during month-end closeout and financial reporting as required.
Support the financial closeout process, ensuring accurate data for cost allocations and reporting metrics.
Coordinate with sister sites to facilitate communication and the smooth transition of data into ERP systems, maintaining flexible hours when needed.
Qualifications :
Experience in finance, payroll, and cost analysis.
MRO operation experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of journal entries, financial auditing, SOX compliance, and work order reconciliation.
Proficiency in JDE, Excel, and financial reporting tools.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to independently troubleshoot financial discrepancies and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
