Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to serve as the Designer Discipline Technical Lead (DTL) for our Cabin Integration (CI) team. The successful candidate will act as the focal designer for assigned projects and work as a key member of the Integrated Project Team (IPT). This role involves overseeing the execution of the Scope of Work (SOW), leading a team of designers, and ensuring the timely and budget-conscious delivery of all tasks. The candidate will also contribute as a senior designer on projects led by other DTLs, as needed.
Key Responsibilities :
- Comprehend the full SOW and distribute tasks among the designer team.
- Provide design support, guidance, and oversight to the team while tracking assignments.
- Verify compliance with all project requirements, including export control regulations.
- Ensure schedule and budget adherence, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Review and approve models, drawings, and documentation as the Design Supervisor.
- Lead and support internal design and supervisor reviews of models, drawings, and related documents.
- Act as a senior designer on projects led by other DTLs when required.
- Support manufacturing, operations, and testing efforts as needed.
- Coordinate with the IPT and other disciplines within the team, such as electrical engineers, stress engineers, flammability specialists, purchasing, operations, and program management.
