What are the responsibilities and job description for the Splunk & SolarWinds Orion Administrator position at MSR Technology Group?
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Splunk & SolarWinds Orion Administrator to manage and optimize the performance, security, and monitoring of our IT infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, administering, and managing the Splunk and SolarWinds Orion tools, ensuring that our systems are running smoothly and that we are able to proactively monitor, analyze, and respond to network and security events. 6-8 yrs experiences preferred.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience working with Splunk (Splunk Admin or Architect certifications preferred).
- Proven experience working with SolarWinds Orion (SolarWinds Certified Professional preferred).
- Strong knowledge of system and network monitoring concepts and best practices.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to automate tasks and improve tool functionality.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of security concepts, event correlation, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
