Primary job duties / responsibilities :
This person will be responsible for leading the FDM, FIN Accounting, and Budgets Functional Lead roles for a Workday Financials initial implementation business process alignment period taking place prior to the Workday Financials implementation.
They will be responsible for working with the client to create their Foundational Data Model (FDM), utilizing their extensive accounting background to help them build out their new chart of accounts.
They will work through with the client their current business processes, demonstrate, and consult on Workday best practices, and provide suggestions on ways to streamline and create efficiencies for their FDM, Financial Accounting, and Budgets functional areas.
The foundation that is established during this process will lay the framework for the Workday Financials implementation.
