Role And Responsibilities
The job duties and responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify job requirements and develop effective job descriptions.
- Utilize various sourcing techniques to attract a diverse pool of candidates including the use of staffing agencies when needed.
- Work closely with the human resources team including HR Generalist and HR Assistant.
- Conduct phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit as requested by the manager.
- Manage the entire recruitment process, including drafting offer letters and negotiating terms.
- Coordinate and participate in candidate interviews, both in-person and virtually.
- Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
- Provide an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to hiring and employment.
- Complete the Affirmative Action Plan annually.
- Implement initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization.
- Prepare and post jobs to appropriate job boards, Applicant Tracking System, websites, NC and SC Works and social media.
- Review applicants to evaluate if they meet position requirements.
- Work closely with managers to maximize effectiveness of the recruiting process.
- Attend Career Fairs for recruiting and company recognition.
- Manage and expand the Apprenticeship Program, Co-op Program, and Internships.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to evaluate candidates, schedule interviews and request job offer letters.
- Other HR related duties as assigned by the Human Resources Manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience in recruiting.
- Minimum two years’ experience as a Recruiter
- Solid understanding of full-cycle recruitment processes and best practices
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other HR software.
- Strong knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and in-depth knowledge of data mining and internet research.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
