Role and Responsibilities
- Responsible for billing of Service Calls and Maintenance Contracts.
- Prepare timely and accurate invoices.
- Review billing accounts and resolve discrepancies or issues related to service charges, payment terms, or account history.
- Communicate with account managers and customers for accurate invoicing.
- Coordinate the billing cycle from service delivery to invoice generation.
- Ensuring timely completion of all billing activities in all accounting software to include customer portals.
- Work closely with accounts receivable to review/resolve any billing issues.
- Generate billing reports.
- Identify opportunities for enhancing billing processes and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist service coordinators with customer support.
- Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company from time to time
Qualifications and Requirements
- Knowledge of basic accounting and billing experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently against deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with solid follow-up skills
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with any service & accounting software such as Vista is preferred not required
- Physical Demands: Constant sitting, walking short distances, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching above and/or below shoulder, handling/grasping documents or office equipment, clear speaking and adequate hearing sufficient to communicate effectively and respond appropriately in-person and/or on the telephone, vision sufficient to read source materials and computer screen data, repetitive motions for computer equipment use, lift 25 lbs. occasionally, 5-10 lbs. frequently to lift/carry/move objects, files and documents.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug test
Work Environment: Work is performed in an office environment with air conditioning and bright lights.
