Assembly Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and soldering components to create high-quality products. The Assembly Technician should have expertise in machining, interpreting schematics, possess mechanical knowledge, and be proficient in using hand tools and calipers. Experience with surface mount technology and using an ohmmeter is highly desirable. Hours: M-F 7:30a-4:00p (Weekends as needed)
Duties:
- Fabricate and assemble components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Utilize machining techniques to produce precision parts.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
- Solder electronic components with precision and attention to detail.
- Measure and inspect parts using calipers and other measuring tools.
- Operate an ohmmeter to test electronic circuits for continuity.
Skills:
- Proficiency in machining processes.
- Ability to interpret schematics accurately.
- Strong mechanical knowledge.
- Experience with surface mount technology is a plus.
- Proficient in using hand tools for assembly tasks.
- Familiarity with calipers for precise measurements.
- Capability to fabricate, assemble, and solder components effectively.
