We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. This role involves data visualization, report/dashboard creation, data modeling, and performance optimization to help the organization make data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
Design and implement data models for efficient data retrieval and visualization.
Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources such as SQL Server, Excel, APIs, and cloud services into Power BI.
Optimize Power BI dashboards for performance and scalability.
Implement DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) calculations for complex business logic.
Ensure data security and governance by implementing row-level security (RLS) and access controls.
Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide insights.
Troubleshoot Power BI issues, optimize queries, and improve data processing efficiency.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features, tools, and best practices.
<Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2 years of experience in Power BI development and data visualization.
Proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M language).
Strong understanding of data modeling, star schema, and relational databases.
Hands-on experience with SQL, ETL processes, and data integration.
Knowledge of Azure services (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, etc.) is a plus.
Familiarity with Power Automate and Power Apps is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Certifications
Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (optional but preferred)
