Job Description

We are currently assisting a high-growth client in their search for a hands-on CONTROLLER .

Responsibilities of Controller -

Direct all accounting functions including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and collections. Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Manage the month end closing process; Hands on preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
Preparation of monthly balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement and other reports as needed.
Identify and implement efficiencies and best practices across all areas of accounting and financial reporting and planning.
Build and maintain accounting controls by recommending and documenting policies and procedures.
Act as a mentor to accounting team members and guide staff development as it relates to accounting skills and technology.
Collaborate and partner with other members of the leadership team as well as external accountants and the Board of Directors.

Requirements of Controller -

CPA preferred, Accounting degree required

Experience with Netsuite ERP required.

At least 5 years experience in an Accounting Manager or Controller role in a closely-held entity

Proven management experience with the ability to lead and mentor a small team
