Summary: The Pricing Analyst is responsible for maintaining pricing related to product and services, such as customer pricing and vendor costing, price comparisons. This role handles vendor item cost updates, item creation, pricing structure. You will create and maintain customer contracts, including consignment, and price libraries.
Essential Job Duties
- Strategically aligns pricing structure to market conditions.
- Understands the impact of pricing on profit margins and implements changes to maintain acceptable margins.
- Manages vendor price increase notifications.
- Creates and maintains vendor price libraries.
- Communicates cost increases and other factors affecting sales margins to appropriate departments.
- Vendor pricing is related to stock and non-stock products.
- Maintain a monthly summary of price increases.
- Creates and maintains seasonal specials.
- Maintain pricing history in company database.
- Reports profit maximizing suggestions to assigned manager.
- Analyzes the financial impact of price approach in view of overall history as well as profitability for selected customers.
- Outlines and supports adherence to new business pricing procedures.
- Ensures accurate cost and price uploads for vendors and customers daily.
- Collaborates with Pricing Manager, Purchasing Lead, Sales Manager, Operations Manager and VP to create and maintain customer pricing libraries and contracts.
- Prepares approved pricing in customer preferred format.
- Creates and maintains customer consignment items and contracts.
- Maintains and updates running project list with status.
- Supports Pricing Manager and Purchasing Lead as needed.

- Maintains proficiency with company computer systems in aspects related to job, such as data entry, messaging, call logs, or other job & office functions and requirements.
Minimum Job Requirements
- High school diploma or its GED equivalent, bachelor’s degree or 4 years equivalent work experience
- 2 or more years’ data management experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Minimum keyboarding skills of 40 words per minute
- Use computers, photocopiers, scanners, phone systems, and physical & virtual meeting platforms sharing relative to the needs of the job
- Aptitude for mathematical operations and numerical analysis
