Job Description
The [WTC] Material Handler will receive, and sort daily parts shipments(s) delivered by FedEx. This role will support the Shipping and Receiving Team Lead. This may include external partners (Dealers, Vendors …etc.) alongside internal clients. Daily communications arranging deliveries and pick-ups for multiple vendors, while maintaining a clean and organized work area will be important. This role requires a team-mentality and atmosphere, where all will be requested at times to assist other departments as needed. The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds is required.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Receive and sort daily shipments from FedEx (and others) and process, same day delivered.
- Assist with staging packages at table and in receiving section of Area A as FedEx agent unloads truck.
- Open packages, separate packing slips and sort parts for technicians, engineers, scraps …etc.
- Enter packing slips into AS400 to receive parts into tracking system (light data entry)
- Assist Shipping and Receiving Team Lead with department, dealer, and vendor communications, via email and phone calls, as needed.
- Obtain and maintain forklift operator certification (provided by company).
- Obtain and maintain automotive Hazmat handler certification (provided by company).
- Maintain a clean and organized facility, including :
Trash and Recyclables : Removal
Qualifications
High school diploma.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate may not have been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At MSXI, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $18 to $20 hourly based on current experience.
