Interview Type: Skype *** Very long term project initial PO for 1 year, expect to go for 4 years *** *** Onsite *** need 3 references
The scope of the proposed services will include the following:
- Review current technology (hardware and software) used for managing agency records and recommend any changes needed taddress inefficiencies, maintenance issues, scalability, recoverability, and security risk including:
- Agency scanning capability
- Document repository and indexing
- Identify all methods of document creation and acquisition
- Integration of other systems
- Searching, retrieving and sharing records both internal and external
- Tracking document lifecycle for both electronic and physical records
- Participate in all data gathering sessions
- Provide a gap analysis of current technology tfuture needs
- Estimate cost and effort of future state.
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:
- 10 or more years experience with Software Engineering
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 5 or more years experience with document management development including scanning, indexing, storage and disposition of records
- Knowledge of document management systems, experience with data entry, file organization, and familiarity with relevant compliance regulations,
- Implementation of custom API processes
- Support of document capture software Kofax Capture, IBM DataCap or similar
- ECRM implementation experience Hyland OnBase, IBM FileNet, Oracle, MS SharePoint or other
- Strong analytical skills tidentify current technology use and effectively recommend alternative solutions
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:
- Experience with state government records management programs is a plus
- Experience with Office of Technology (OTS) Enterprise Architecture is desired.
