*** Inperson Interview *** *** Very long term project initial PO for 1 year and usually the project goes for 3/5 years with this customer *** *** Hybrid *** 2 days a week onsite*** (Wednesdays are mandatory to be onsite. The other onsite day can be flexible.)
Posting Summary:
Looking for a PowerBuilder Developer and IT Analyst with a strong background specialized in PowerBuilder Development (version 7 or higher) and possess advanced skills in T SQL query writing for Sybase and MS SQL Server databases. Day to day activities include data management, source control (TFS/Azure DevOps, GIT), unit testing, documentation, testing, production support, change management, software development and data integrity.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Some college preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline
- PowerBuilder Development (version 7 or higher)
- Work in a hybrid office
- Willingness to learn
Required Skills:
- PowerBuilder Developer: Research and modify PowerBuilder source code to document the steps the application uses with data. Current experience 5 years
- T SQL Query Writing: Resource must have a high level of SQL query writing skills to write complex queries to pull data from a Sybase and MS SQL Server database. Must have experience developing processes to extract and manipulate data to support data migration and data cleansing of application data. 10 years
- Data Management: Must have experience in performing data profiling, data mapping, data manipulation, validation, and analysis. 10 years
- Source Control: Must have experience working with source control technologies such as TFS/Azure DevOps, or GIT. 5 years
- Unit Testing: Must have experience documenting and performing unit testing to support program changes. 10 years
- Documentation: Must have experience creating, updating, and maintaining documentation for programs, system specs, and flow diagrams. 10 years
- Testing: Must be able to work with the client and/or Business Analyst to support test scenarios. 5 years
- Production Support: Analyze and document identified problems to determine root cause and provide root cause analysis. 5 years
- Change Management: Follow change management procedures and provide input to execute changes. 5 years
