Title: Solutions Architect (Cisco / Ruckus / Palo Alto)
Duration: 12 Months (Contract)
Location Boston Area, or Connecticut (On-site role, 3 days a week)
No C2C, Only W2
About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Solutions Architect with a strong technical background in Cisco, Ruckus, and Palo Alto technologies. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing robust network solutions that meet enterprise standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimized performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business requirements to develop customized network solutions.
- Assess existing network standards and recommend optimized solutions.
- Design, develop, and deploy LAN, WAN, and Data Center (DC) products to meet organizational needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product teams for seamless integration across platforms.
- Adhere to enterprise governance and review processes to achieve project goals and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with ITSM and CMDB processes following enterprise standards.
- Prepare and maintain standard documents, including Risk Assessments (RA), High-Level Designs (HLD), and Low-Level Designs (LLD) for network solutions.
- Develop, monitor, and automate frameworks for LAN, WAN, and DC
- Provide effective troubleshooting and timely response to network incidents.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance network solutions.
Technical Background (Must-Have):
- Cisco: Extensive experience with Cisco network infrastructure, including routing, switching, and security solutions.
- Ruckus: Strong knowledge of Ruckus wireless systems and related technologies for enterprise-level deployments.
- Palo Alto: Hands-on expertise in Palo Alto firewalls, including configuration, troubleshooting, and policy management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect with expertise in Cisco, Ruckus, and Palo Alto
- Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, and Data Center (DC)
- Hands-on experience with ITSM and CMDB processes.
- Proficiency in developing HLD, LLD, and RA documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, Ruckus Certified Expert).
- Experience working in enterprise environments with complex network infrastructures.
