Maine School Administrative District 75 (MSAD 75) is seeking an Afternoon Bus Aide to join our vibrant educational community. Together, we can inspire the next generation of learners and leaders.
IMMEDIATE OPENING
POSITION DETAILS: 5 days per week; beginning at 2:10 p.m., (7.5-11 hours/week)
LOCATION: Mt. Ararat Middle School
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist bus drivers in maintaining good student conduct on buses.
- Provide written record of student difficulties on buses to the appropriate staff.
- Assist young and disabled students in any necessary way, including but not limited to getting on/off buses.
- Assist in maintaining an orderly and safe environment.
- Support students w/behavior (safety plan).
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED.
- State of Maine Department of Education Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) authorization or ability to attain.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Demonstrated ability to be fair, firm and helpful.
- Knowledge of safety protocols, first aid and Mandt certification preferred.
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
