What are the responsibilities and job description for the Boys Head Track Coach (Gr. 6-8) position at Mt. Ararat Middle School?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Organize and conduct practices
- Develop individual skills and team play
- Teach and promote sportsmanship in a fun and engaging learning environment
- Fulfill all tasks assigned by Athletic Director
- Communicate effectively with players, parents and athletic
- Follow school and league rules for your sport
REQUIREMENTS:
- Preference given to employees in the District with coaching experience
- Coaching Principles Certificate preferred
- Current CPR/AED certification and Sports First Aid preferred
- Concussion Management Video Certification or able to obtain
- Maine Dept. of Education Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) Authorization, or ability to obtain
