Varsity Girls Tennis Coach
Qualifications
- Has the ability to organize and supervise a high school tennis program.
- Has previous successful coaching expereince in tennis.
- Strong knowledge of tennis techniques, strategies, and rules. Demonstrated ability to effectively teach and develop players.
- Has interest in and aptitude for performing the responsibilities of the position. Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes while promoting sportsmanship and teamwork.
Certifications
Valid CHRC
- Has thorough knowledge of all athletic policies apporved by the RSU 9 Schools' Board of Education and is responsible for their implementation.
- Has knowledge of existing system, state, and league regulations; implements them consistently and interprets them for staff and athletes.
- Understands the proper administrative line of command and refers all requests through proper channels. Is aware of meetings that require attendance.
Education
The coach must be at least 20 years old or a high school graduate.
Experience
Comprehensive knowledge of tennis is preferred as well as knowledge of current coaching techniques and strategies. Knowledge of MPA rules. Demonstarte the ability to instruct and supervise student athletes.
Reports To: Director of Athletics
Terms of Employment: As determined annually by the District.
Evaluation: Completed annually by Director of Athletics
FLSA Status: Exempt/Non-exempt
