Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented part-time Custodians to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various Church-campus facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, including both routine cleaning and specialized tasks.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Conduct floor care activities to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.
- Carry out industrial cleaning duties as needed, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks, addressing minor repairs as assigned and reporting larger issues as necessary.
- Assist with transporting materials and supplies throughout the facility, and room set-ups efficiently.
- Follow established procedures for handling hazardous materials and waste disposal.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED and minimum of one year's experience in custodial or commercial cleaning role required.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is essential.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning standards and practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to function and communicate in a respectful manner while on Church grounds.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 25 per week
