Mt. Carmel Funeral Home is currently seeking a funeral service assistant for their El Paso, TX location. Mt. Carmel Funeral Home and its staff strive to serve our families and their loved ones with the utmost respect, compassion and care attending to their needs during a difficult time.
Responsibilities:
· Assist with set-up of chapel for viewing and funeral/memorial services
· Drive hearse or other vehicle as needed during funeral related activities
· Greet families/guests and assist them with information/questions they may have regarding services.
· Attend to families during their loved one’s services
· Prepares letters for guests attending services
· Assist with set-up of audio/visual equipment in funeral home chapel for services, accommodating to families’ equipment, when needed, for memorial presentations
· Receive flowers brought in by florists or guests to be placed in chapel for service
Requirements & Qualifications:
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
· Must have a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
· Experience in customer service
· Basic knowledge of audio/visual equipment
· Proficient with computers with basic knowledge of MS Office
· Ability to lift 50 lbs.
· Valid driver’s license
· Excellent Driving Record
· Attention to detail
· Bilingual preferred
