Program Area Responsibilities: Responsible for the daily operations of the Behavioral Health Program, provision of licensure for program operation, overall management and success of the Behavioral Health Program, direct supervision of clinicians, as well as program sustainment and budget oversight.

Requirements:

§ Must hold a valid license in at least one of the following areas: LPC, LMFT, LCSW, PsyD, or PhD.

§ Must have held license in the above area for a minimum of 2 years.

§ Must have completed 16 hours of clinical supervisor training.

§ Must have experience in Behavioral Health Business Acumen.

Core Responsibilities:

§ Provide annual budget to leadership.

§ Have a strong knowledge of the Military culture.

§ Ensure program is compliant with HIPAA and State legal/ethical requirements.

§ Educate leadership on behavioral health requirements that differ from other programs (e.g. HIPAA, non solicitation of testimonials, DORA standards etc.).

§ Have working knowledge of EHR processes.

§ Manage billing practices for insurances, grants, and self-pay clients.

§ Identify and address gaps in program income.

§ Know roles and responsibilities of employees in Behavioral Health Program, and manage them effectively.

§ Adjust policies and procedures as needed to ensure optimal performance of team and program.

§ Create/utilize effective measurement tools to display program effectiveness.

§ Collaborate with grant writing team on grants and grant budgets.

§ Sustain/Increase program income.

§ Ensure effective public speaking skills and positive representation of Mt. Carmel in the community.

§ Provide community briefs of program on and off campus.

§ Provide TV and Podcast interviews as needed.

§ Collaborate with other program directors/employees to increase overall company effectiveness.

§ Lead role of hiring behavioral health program employees with appropriate experience based on role requirements.

§ Train and skill up new employees.

§ Ensure team compliance with clinical notes and auditing requirements.

§ Have working knowledge of behavioral health auditing requirements.

§ Know insurance billing policies and procedures.

§ Provide continuous positive, encouraging, collaborative, and solution focused leadership.

§ Be able to regulate self and de-escalate conflicts when needed.

§ Provide culturally competent behavioral health care to a small caseload of clients.

§ Provide trauma informed therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups.

§ Customize treatment based on client needs.

§ Understand primary diagnosis to include: PTSD, MDD, GAD, AD, BPD etc.

§ Provide competent care to clients by customizing tx modalities to include: C-PTSD, DBT, ACT, TF-CBT, IFS informed, CBT, EFIT, CPT, etc.

§ Manage all aspects of Electronic Health Record platform and billing processes as clinician and supervisor.

Clinical Supervisor responsibilities:

§ Have the ability to utilize personal License and supervision for graduate interns and licensure candidates to operate under.

§ Ensure personal license is active and in good standing with the State (must be 2 years post licensure and have required supervisor training).

§ Coordinate with existing Clinical Supervisor (s).

§ Know legal/ethical requirements for providing therapy outside State lines.

§ Conditions based utilize appropriate theoretical models of supervision.

§ Conditions based provide supervisor evaluations and adjust supervision based on supervisee feedback provided.

§ Continue Clinical and Supervisor training to enhance overall effectiveness.

§ Consult with behavioral health specific legal support to ensure State compliance.

§ Conditions based provide weekly supervision and assist supervisees to create goals and objectives.

§ Adhere to contractual requirements of University or State licensure, know educational track requirements of supervisors, and attend University functions.

§ Conditions based provide clinical evaluation for student interns.

§ Ensure understanding of the unique legal/ethical/professional association requirements for each track of supervisee: LMFT, LPC, LCSW, etc.

§ Assist in the selection process of prospective interns and complete onboarding process.

§ Conditions based complete required Site Visits with University Faculty and supervisee.

§ Ensure positive and collaborative relationships with partnering Universities.

§ Assess supervisee’s level of skill and provide appropriate supervision based on supervisee’s needs to include clinical supervision based on student/licensure track (e.g. LPC, MFT, LCSW).

§ Ensure supervisees are in compliance with State requirements (to include ethical and legal).

§ Ensure supervisee competency and client’s needs are an ethical fit.

§ Provide live or recorded observation feedback to supervisees.

§ Understand flow and throughput of interns/ supervisees throughout the year (based on University semesters and graduation dates) to ensure level of team remains consistent.

Retreat Facilitation:

§ Engage in partnerships with retreat host locations and ensure positive partnership experiences

§ Create retreat budgets and agendas

§ Organize and manage all communication between retreat partners/staff, providers, team, and attendees

§ Provide facilitation of icebreakers, therapeutic interventions, psychoeducation sessions, etc.

§ Create a climate of fun, engagement, warmth, connectedness, and positive energy for attendees and team (to include providers and retreat staff) throughout retreat time frame

§ Engage/utilize supervisees as appropriate and provide onsite training/supervision

§ Provide measurements to assess retreat effectiveness

§ Analyze data to report to funders, leadership, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
