Clinical Education Specialist

We are seeking a skilled clinical educator to join our team. This role involves maintaining a comprehensive nursing education program to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

About the Position:

• This is a key role within the organization, requiring a high level of expertise in nursing education and leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain an ongoing, consortium-wide nursing education program for nursing staff.
• Ensure the nursing competency of all assigned staff, including new hires.
• Provide support services to internal/external customers under the direct supervision of the Clinical Education Manager.
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• MUST HAVE ALL VACCINATIONS AT TIME OF SUBMISSION
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
• Masters degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Education, Sociology, or related field
• Current full, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of Alaska
• 5 years professional nursing experience with minimum 2 years as staff RN in a specialty (ER, ICU, OB, OR)
• At least 1 year with nursing supervisory responsibilities
• Prior Med/Surg, Outpatient, and/or Remote Rural experience preferred
• 3 years instructor experience required, preferably at the hospital or college level
