Job Details
MUST HAVE / OBTAIN FLU VACCINATION
Scrubs in on surgical procedures under professional nurse supervision for various advanced and complex surgeries including General & Rectal Surgery, Laparoscope and Open Cholecystectomies, appendectomies, hernias, thyroidectomy, Obstetric / Gynecology procedures, Otolaryngology, Orthopedic procedures, Endoscopic procedures, and others as required.
Clinical duties include provision of patient care and support for individuals of all ages and their families.
Utilizes AORN Standards of Care in everyday practice.
Job Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Completion of a technologist training program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs or any recognized accrediting agency.
Surgical Technologist Certification (CST) preferred; if not certified, certification must be obtained within six months of hire or on-the-job training may substitute for certification.
