Job duties will include:
- Kindly greet patients as they come in.
- Check patients in and out of the office, answers phones, and provide great customer service.
- Schedule and confirm appointments.
- Collect and record payments, verify insurances, and process referrals daily.
- Multi-task and prioritize duties while managing multiple patient and staff interruptions.
- Support diagnostic testing and charting.
- Process hearing aid orders and repairs.
- Prepare hearing aids for patients.
- Assist with walk-in and curbside patient care.
- Order hearing aid supplies, batteries, and overseeing overall clinic inventory.
- Troubleshoot Bluetooth connectivity issues with patient’s hearing aids
- Collaborate and assist other staff members when possible by helping with their daily tasks.
Qualified candidates will have:
- 2 years of medical office experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with patients, colleagues, and vendors.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and customer service skills.
- Strong computer skills and a foundational understanding of Bluetooth technology and smartphone use.
- The ability to handle a busy office with interruptions, calls, walk-ins. Must have the ability to direct the flow of the office with efficiency while maintaining a positive attitude.
