Assists and leads content support on social media, specialized software, and texting used for recruitment purposes. Participates in, plans, organizes, and implements on- and off-campus recruitment events throughout and beyond the local student recruiting areas; participates in hosting prospective student visits, campus information sessions, and other traditional and innovative recruitment activities that lead to MHCC being the first choice in the area for post-secondary education and training.Essential DutiesOrganizes, plans, and participates in a diverse array of innovative recruitment events and outreach activities throughout and beyond the local student recruiting areas; participates in hosting prospective student visits, campus information sessions, and innovative recruitment activities. Assists prospective students on degree programs offerings and discusses admissions requirements and application processes.Oversees the customer relations management system. Enters and audits data and sets up campaigns and timeline. Develops and sends electronic communications and ensures timely information and accurate data management for prospective students.Assists and leads content support on social media, specialized software, and texting used for recruitment purposes. Collaborates on development of evidence-based recruitment strategies and best practices for the college. Participates in tabling, registration events, and outreach events for both traditional and non-traditional age recruitment.Compiles and analyzes data from various communication channels for recruitment efforts. Recommend improvements. Communicates admissions and outreach information consistently and effectively with prospective students and their families. Responds to general inquiries.Maintains and builds relationships with local high school counselors, students and faculty to promote Mount Hood Community College as a post-secondary college of choice. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in relevant areas: marketing, education, human resources, communications or similarTwo (2) years of experience in student recruitment or admissions, including marketing or communication outreach developmentExperience working with high school age students Current driver’s license, insurance, and access to reliable automobile during work hours for transportation to off-campus sites. Must have at least three (3) years of driving historyExperience working with the diverse backgrounds of the College's community, students and employees and demonstrated commitment to promoting access and diversityEquivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered on a year for year basis\Preferred QualificationsBilingual skills with fluency in English and Spanish, or other language that meets community needs Experience with social media marketingFamiliarity with student leadership development theoryExperience working with diverse college studentsExperience managing a customer relations management system (CRM)

Work Environment: Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment, across the College and throughout the community, occasional exposure to outdoor environments and inclement weather and requiring travel beyond college campuses.This position does require off site visits to high schools, businesses and other places prospective students convene. Including some evening and weekend events. This position may be eligible for remote work on a hybrid basis upon approval. Any
remote work requires prior approval and must comply with MHCC Remote Work
policies and administrative regulations. Remote work must be within the states
