What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fleet Repair Shop Supervisor position at Mt. Hood Meadows?

As the Fleet Repair Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a fleet of approximately 50 vehicles, which includes passenger buses and shuttle rigs, as well as overseeing a team of 3-4 mechanics. During the summer, your primary responsibility will be conducting thorough inspections and performing necessary maintenance on our fleet to optimize the performance of our vehicles during the winter season. You'll also assist the snow cat team, delegate tasks, and anticipate vehicle needs through regular checkups. This is a full-time, year-round, benefitted position
Fleet Repair Shop Supervisor’s Scope of Work:
Plans and coordinates tasks for the fleet repair shop, focusing on passenger buses, trucks, and heavy equipment.
Routinely inspects fleet vehicles to analyze service needs
Prepares and communicates maintenance schedules for fleet vehicles.
Operates diagnostic equipment and maintains fleet maintenance database.
Performs repairs and maintenance on fleet vehicles.
Keeps detailed records of performed maintenance and repairs.
Monitors shop inventory and assists in ordering parts and supplies.

Must be at least 21 years of age
Highschool Diploma or GED
Ability to be insured to operate company vehicles
At least 2 years of experience in leadership, management or supervisory role
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Experience servicing heavy equipment, passenger buses, or vehicles with air brakes. (TriMet, CAT, etc.)
Demonstrated understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to use hand and power tools
Basic welding skills
Able to perform work in a variety of conditions and climates including severe weather conditions
Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and basic computer operation
Preferred Experience
Snowcat operation and repair experience a plus
Experience using fleet management software
Current Class B CDL with passenger endorsement or ability to obtain a CDL
Familiar with Department of Transportation policies and regulations
Vehicle recovery experience
Compensation
Starting Wage: $30/hr. - $62,400 annually
Base starting wage will be altered to commensurate additional certifications, licensures, and experience
