Job Summary
The Boot Fitter’s main function is to properly fit each customer to the appropriate boot in a professional and timely manner while delivering a level of customer service that goes above and beyond their expectations.
Essential Functions
- Greet guests and always provide superior guests’ service.
- Apply boot fitting techniques learned in training.
- Restock boot room shelves and rotate boots on dryers.
- Return deposits and paperwork when appropriate.
- Fill in information on rental forms accurately and completely,
- Organize/maintain a clean working environment in and around the rental shop.
- Physically assist with boot fitting.
- Snow Removal.
- Run Ski Check Station.
- Maintain the highest safety standards and code compliance for guests and staff.
- Other duties as requested by Manager, Senior Team, or VP/GM
Qualifications
Requirements
- Must be able to deal with high volumes of people in a friendly, courteous manner.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Must be able to read and write English.
- Able to work well with others in a TEAM environment.
- Able to lift 40lbs over your head.
- Must be able to follow directions given properly and in a timely manner.
- Must be able to work Holidays and Weekends which may include evenings.
- Must be able to stand entire shift.
- Must be able to kneel and crouch.
- Team player – be flexible and open to new ideas and changing priorities.
