At MT HOOD SKI BOWL LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Lift Operator to join our team. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of chairlifts at our resort.
Key Responsibilities- Perform pre-shift and post-shift procedures to maintain lift equipment
- Operate lifts in accordance with emergency procedures and established protocols
- Verify valid tickets for each guest to ensure adherence to company policies
- Maintain accurate operational logs and complete incident reports as necessary
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve optimal lift operations and enhance the overall guest experience
- Must be 18 years old and have a valid driver's license within a specified timeframe
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions while maintaining a high level of productivity
- Effective communication skills and physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, while adhering to uniform and personal hygiene policies
