Ready to join an innovative dental team? Mt. Juliet Dental Studio is one of our newest spots in the Morton Dental Group lineup, and we're growing fast! Remodeled, revamped, and providing excellent care to Mt Juliet. We offer a wide array of services to our patients including general dentistry, implants, cosmetics, and advanced procedures so no 2 days will be the same. We need a stellar Dental Assistant to join our team and care for our growing patient base!
Hours are Monday through Thursday 7:00am - 3:30 with alternating two Fridays a month 7:00am - 1:00pm. Just bring your A-game in organization and attention to detail. We want someone who can handle patient care like a champ and keep things running smooth.
Our office? Totally modern, totally fun. We're packing all the latest tech for both our team and our awesome patients.
Our group? Values our team as much as our patients! We have work life balance and can provide a 4 day work week. We offer 2 weeks PTO and Paid Holidays for our full time team members.

Responsibilities:
- Captain of the patient experience.
- Craft a seamless experience by expertly preparing patients for their treatments or exams.
- Prepare for each patients arrival including set up of instruments, equipment, and materials.
- Keep our instruments squeaky clean and sterilized while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
- Form a dynamic duo with our dentist through skillful 4-handed dentistry.
- Extend your care by providing clear and comprehensive oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions, ensuring our patients are well-informed and at ease.
- Champion accuracy by maintaining up-to-date and precise patient records.
- Ensure our patients stay on track with care by scheduling future appointments as needed.
- Order and maintain dental supplies ensuring we are always stocked and ready for our patients.
Skills:
- Proven track record as a skilled and compassionate dental assistant, showcasing a wealth of experience in delivering top-notch care.
- A keen grasp of health and safety regulations - OSHA / HIPAA
- Tech-Savvy with a knack for learning and integrating new software.
- A well-organized and reliable team player, ensuring seamless operations and impeccable patient care.
- Possession of additional certifications of training, like an EFDA, is the icing on the cake! We value your commitment to continuous growth and excellence!
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred
- X-ray certification required
- Knowledge of dental documentation and coding practices
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems (e.g., OpenDental, Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
