What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional (IA 1:1) position at Mt. Mansfield UUSD?
Jericho Elementary School is seeking full-time, energetic and caring Paraprofessionals to work with students in Grades K-4. These positions are responsible for providing 1:1 support to students and working in groups with students to assist with Individualized Educational Program (IEP) services. In addition, paraprofessionals provide assistance to special educators and classroom teachers and perform a variety of supportive activities with a diverse population of students.
JES will provide job specific training. Qualified candidates should enjoy working with and engaging with students, have the ability to communicate effectively and work independently. Candidates must be reliable, have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand and/or walk for extended periods of time to support students.
