The Everest Evolution™ products and services will be exclusive to the wholesale channel. The E&S Excess Casualty division of Everest is looking for a Senior Underwriter or AVP to join our team. This opportunity is available at our Atlanta, Chicago, or Houston office, offering a hybrid work schedule. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Analyze risk data of proposed insureds to identify hazards and exposures for new and renewal business. Implement underwriting rationale through exposure evaluation, risk assessment, and pricing of individual risks. Development and execution of business strategy necessary to drive submission flow and binding of profitable business. Adhering to underwriting rules and guidelines. Developing and maintaining relationships with wholesale brokers to facilitate a flow of desirable new business and to maintain renewal business via quality service. Collaborating with other product lines to provide full product support to the client. Representing Everest at internal and external meetings, actively participating in discussions with brokers, clients, and other key stakeholders. Participating in business travel as required to support client relationships and foster business development. Qualifications, Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or above and/or insurance certifications. A minimum of 6 years of experience in underwriting E&S casualty and/or excess casualty business. Knowledge, Skills & Competencies: Demonstrated ability to generate profitable new business. Strong relationship management and negotiation skills. Excellent analytical, communication, and computer skills. Ability to successfully complete multiple tasks concurrently within a fast-paced, team-oriented, working environment.
