Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated applicants to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks within a Hotel setting, ensuring efficient operations and timely completion of duties. Room attendee, laundry attendee, and breakfast attendee, Front Desk (Guest Service Agent), Maintenance Engineer, and F&B Host/Server.
Responsibilities
-1. Transport Raw Materials, Finished Products, & Equipment:
a. The employee will transport cleaning supplies, linen, food and beverage items, and equipment throughout the hospitality facility. This will be accomplished manually and with the aid of powered equipment such as carts and trolleys to ensure timely and efficient movement of materials to designated areas, including kitchens, dining rooms, and guest accommodations.
2. Sort, Pack, Crate, and Package Materials and Products:
a. The worker will sort and organize cleaning materials, linens, and food items. They will pack these items for service, ensuring that all materials are properly labeled and stored according to hygiene standards. This includes handling items like detergents, sanitizers, linens, and food supplies, ensuring they are ready for use in various areas.
3. Assist Operators, Assemblers, & Other Workers:
a. The employee will assist housekeeping staff and kitchen personnel in daily operations. This may involve operating cleaning machines such as floor scrubbers and dishwashers, as well as assisting in the preparation and serving of food. The worker will support the team by providing necessary supplies and ensuring that all areas are stocked and maintained.
b. The employee's assistance to housekeeping staff and kitchen personnel encompasses specific duties that support daily operations in cleaning, food preparation, and serving. Below is a breakdown of the tasks and tools involved:
c. Food Preparation and Serving: The worker will assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as cutting, peeling, and assembling ingredients for various dishes, under supervision. This may include:
d. Equipment and Utensils Used: Basic kitchen knives, cutting boards, peelers, mixing bowls, and spatulas.
e. Serving Support: Assisting in portioning and plating food, preparing trays, and ensuring that serving stations are stocked with necessary items like plates, cutlery, and condiments.
f. Additional Tools Utilized: Tongs, serving spoons, and ladles.
g. Operating Cleaning Equipment: For assisting with kitchen and dining area cleanup, the worker may use equipment like floor scrubbers and dishwashers.
h. Cleaning Tasks: Loading and unloading the dishwasher, sanitizing surfaces, and cleaning floors.
i. Equipment and Supplies Used: Floor scrubber, dishwasher, brooms, mops, and appropriate cleaning agents.
4. Perform Other Laboring & Elemental Activities:
a. Additional responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness in guest rooms, public areas, and dining facilities. This includes vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and ensuring that all surfaces are sanitized. The worker will also be involved in waste disposal and replenishing cleaning supplies as needed.
