Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Director of Operations who brings strong mechanical expertise, sharp organizational skills, and proven leadership abilities. This role is critical to our growth strategy, overseeing the Plant, Production, Fulfillment, and Logistics teams to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. The right candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring fresh ideas to the table to keep us moving forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the manufacturing facility, ensuring efficiency, safety, and top-tier quality.
- Lead and develop the Plant, Production, Fulfillment, and Logistics teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
- Optimize processes to improve productivity, minimize waste, and enhance overall performance.
- Ensure strict compliance with SQF (Safe Quality Food) standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Oversee maintenance and ensure all machinery operates at peak performance.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Supply Chain teams to meet production goals and exceed customer expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support the company’s commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
- Manage budgets and operational costs to ensure financial targets are met.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Operations Management preferred but not required.
- 5 years of experience in operations management within a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of SQF and GMP standards, with a history of successfully managing compliance.
- Proven mechanical aptitude and familiarity with production equipment in food manufacturing.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
- A results-driven leader with experience managing and mentoring teams to achieve high performance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
