Position Overview:
The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for managing all quality assurance and food safety programs across two facilities, ensuring compliance with FDA, USDA, and other relevant regulations. This role requires hands-on leadership, a deep understanding of food manufacturing, and a passion for continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee Quality Systems: Develop, implement, and manage quality control processes, food safety programs, and sanitation protocols.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain compliance with regulatory standards (FSMA, FDA, USDA, HACCP, SQF) and customer requirements.
- Lead the Team: Train and mentor quality control staff to meet company standards and goals.
- Conduct Audits: Oversee internal and external audits, including third-party certifications.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Analyze trends, solve problems, and implement solutions to improve product quality and reduce defects.
What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Quality Control in a food plant setting.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations (FDA, USDA, FSMA, HACCP, SQF, etc.).
- Proven track record of managing quality programs and passing regulatory audits.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field is preferred but not required if experience is substantial.
