The hours for the position are from 10:30pm-7am
Summary
Receives, stores and issues repair parts and supplies.
Duties And Responsibilities
Essential functions
Receives, stores and issues repair parts and supplies.
Coordinates DIN maintenance responses to calls for support from operations. Operates radio to dispatch Maintenance personnel for emergency repairs.
Prepares receiving reports for incoming shipments or completes receiving reports for items initially received by Shipping and transferred to Stockroom. Resolves differences in packing slips and purchase orders.
Receives and manually transports parts and supplies from delivery truck or shipping. Lifts objects up to 50 lbs. and assists in moving objects in excess of 50 lbs. Operates forklift to unload or transport parts and supplies as needed. Transports parts and supplies received by Stockroom.
Operates own or company vehicle to pick up repair parts at local suppliers.
Delivers needed repair parts around plant.
Receives written or verbal request for parts or supplies and issues items from Stockroom. Delivers items to work site as requested.
Visually inspects inventory and counts from computer generated reports.
Uses mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions in ordering materials and in processing purchase orders, receiving reports and invoices.
Maintains library of machinery manuals, drawings, parts lists, etc.
Performs component level and small system rebuilds and repairs. Uses hand and power tools to repair and rebuild components, small mechanical systems, and basic electrical systems located proximate or inside the stock room. Pulls parts from inventory to effect rebuild/repair or generates stock requisition for parts that correlate to repair/rebuild work order.
Other duties
Performs other clerical tasks in support of other departments as directed by Supervisor or Director.
Assists maintenance at the request of Maintenance Supervisors.
Operates forklift in performance of some job duties.
Participates in training, employee meetings, committees, project teams, etc. as appropriate.
Receives written or verbal instructions on above tasks and performs other work as directed by Stock Room Supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
High school graduate required, some college a plus. Knowledge of standard business computer software needed. Good written and verbal communication skills required. Math requirements include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fractions. Ability to read, write and speak in English required.

Hand, electric and pneumatic tools, forklift, own or company vehicle, two-way radio, personal computer, standard office equipment, steel toed shoes.
Physical Demands
Climbing: Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized. This factor is important if the amount and kind of climbing required exceeds that required for ordinary locomotion.
Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at waist. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerate degree and requires full use of the lower extremities and back muscles.
Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
Standing: Particularly for sustained periods of time.
