Mount Olivet Rolling Acres - MORA – is a diverse and inclusive nonprofit has supported adults, seniors and children with developmental disabilities, behavioral health needs as well as age-related and chronic medical conditions for over 50 years in the Twin Cities metro.
MORA provides an array of services: Adult Day Services, Contracted Case Management, Community Supports, over 30 Residential Homes, Respite, Therapeutic Recreation, Training for Guardians & Families, and a Discover Summer Daytime Programming for Youth with Disabilites. Our Metro Crisis Coordination Program (MCCP) offers a safety net of crucial and cost-effective services for adults and children.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with flexibillity to meet client needs
Salary Pay: $58,000
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of trauma informed care services and interventions to meet client needs
Support the client in identifying their triggers and implementing coping strategies that allow them to stabilize and transition to a long-term living option. Educate clients on their mental health needs.
Collaborate with team members to develop and implement the youth’s therapeutic support plan
Maintain open communication with your coworkers and contribute to a healthy work environment by supporting each other in meeting the needs of the clients served.
Completion of Diagnostic Assessments and other clinical assessments as appropriate
Attend team and client meetings and share updates on clinical progress
Assist in managing client mental health crisis by assessing for safety and risk and implementing interventions as necessary
Provide short-term individual and family therapy services to youth that focus on stabilization
Interact with emergency services personnel when necessary to ensure safety of clients
Demonstrate an acceptance and respectfulness towards all people of any gender, race, age, culture, ethnicity, class, religion, disability and gender identity.
Maintaining appropriate boundaries with clients at all time
Work effectively with the clients identified supports (family, guardians, workers) to encourage communication and healthy relationships
Lead DBT, CBT groups
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of a graduate level clinical program and working towards licensure (LGSW, LPCC, LMFT)
Experience with youth in a residential, shelter or crisis program
Must pass Department of Human Services background check and maintain “qualified” status.
Must be able to successfully complete company’s physical job demands document
If using own vehicle for company business, must have a current valid driver’s license and must have insurance as required by state law.
Must be 21 years of age to serve children.
Demonstrates mastery of basic computer skills.
