Under direction and supervision of the Superintendent of Schools, perform highly complex, technical, confidential and sensitive administrative functions that 1) Make the superintendent more productive and successful, 2) Enhance MPESD's positive relationships with stakeholders, and 3) Reinforce its reputation as an important educational resource in the community. Organize and coordinate the activities of the Superintendent’s office, serve as an administrative assistant, and serve as the secretary to the Board of Education. Positions in this classification are characterized by the high level of independent judgment exercised as well as the need for initiative and flexibility in the performance of assignments. Understanding District procedures and policies is required as is the ability to communicate professionally and efficiently with all stakeholders.
