Mount Pleasant School District is a Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grade district with three Elementary Schools, one Middle School, and one Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grade Dependent Charter School. JOB TITLE : After School Program Youth Instructor
- Job Purpose Statement / s : The job of After School Program Youth Instructor is under the supervision of the Director of ELL & Student Support Services, and assists a group of 20 students through the various program components.
Directly Responsible To : Director - ELL & Student Support Services

Education and Experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Skills are required to perform multiple non-technical tasks with an occasional need to upgrade skills due to changing job conditions. Specific skills required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include : communicate with persons of varied cultural and / or educational backgrounds; operate standard office equipment; prepare and maintain accurate records.
Knowledge is required to perform basic math including fractions, percents, and ratios; to read a variety of manuals; write documents following prescribed formats and / or present information before groups; and understand complex multiple step instruction. Specific knowledge required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job includes : none specified.
Ability is required schedule a number of activities; gather collate and / or classify data; and use basic job related equipment. Flexibility is required to work with others under a variety of circumstances, analyze data utilizing defined but different processes; and operate equipment suing standard methods of operation. Ability is also required to work with a significant diversity of individuals and / or groups; work with data of varied types and / pr purposes; and utilize a variety of job solutions; with data it is moderate; and with equipment it is limited.
