We have an exciting opportunity for a Clerical Assistant position located at our campus in San Jacinto, CA. Under the supervision of the Dean of Instruction, and general direction of the Automotive Faculty, the Automotive Laboratory Specialist supports the Automotive Department. Major duties include support to the instructional programs, prepares equipment, materials and supplies for classroom instruction and student laboratory assignments; maintains specialized testing of and repair of equipment. Other duties include inventory of, receiving, storing, maintaining, and issuing tools and supplies used in the automotive program.This position serves District-Wide; applicants may be assigned to any district facility. Work hours and worksite locations are subject to change depending on department needs. A six-month probationary period must be successfully completed before the selected candidate is considered a permanent employee of the district. Set up and tear down supplies and equipment for class instruction.
