We have an exciting opportunity for a Cafe Assistant position located at our campus in Menifee, CA. Under general supervision of the Director of Food Services, Food Services Supervisor, or designee, the Café Assistant performs a variety of tasks related to quantity food preparation, the serving of food items, including catering; maintains sanitary conditions throughout the café, provides excellent customer service, and performs other campus food operations duties across the District. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT This position is categorically funded and exists based on the availability of funds. If funds cease to be available, the District may, at its discretion, implement a reduction in force that could result in the elimination of the position. This position serves District-Wide; applicants may be assigned to any district facility. Work hours and worksite locations are subject to change depending on department needs. A six-month probationary period must be successfully completed before the selected candidate is considered a permanent employee of the district.
