Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the development and growth of children, ensuring their safety and well-being while fostering their curiosity and creativity.
Duties
- Educate and engage children through age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide attentive care to toddlers, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Implement lesson plans that align with childhood development standards and encourage exploration.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement techniques to guide children.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive learning environment.
- Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education, special education, and classroom management. (DHR)
- Additional duties that the Director may assign.
Experience
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field .
- Pass Background or Drug Test
- Experience working with toddlers or in a daycare setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential.
- Familiarity with first aid procedures is beneficial
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential.
